The mightiest warriors in history are frequently depicted with some form of arm guard. The materials have ranged from leather to bronze, to iron reinforced leather and to steel. Heavy grade leather has been a popular material in armory throughout the times as it gives excellent protection against slashes as well as against crushing blows.
We’re bringing you these plain arm guards made of 3mm thick heavy grade leather. Though thick, they are easy and comfortable to wear all day long. They have been left plain, so they are ready for a large variety of outfits, from Roman soldier to medieval adventurer to fantasy outfits, but also easy to customize if needed.
These arm guards are designed mainly for historical reenactment, to be worn over clothing and/or padding. They are sufficient for soft fencing, and as a light protection in wood and steel fencing to provide just enough surface protection from a glancing blow. And as they are sold individually, these arm guards are also great for archers.
