Description
Bags attached to belts have been in use since antiquity in many cultures; even iceman Ötzi had a belt pouch 5000 years ago. As pockets were unknown in medieval times, this belt bag is a welcome addition for any historical outfit, giving it a layer of realism and practicality. This handy pouch will hold your money, your pipe leaf, as well as your tinderbox.
The reversible pouch is made of leather. The bag has no interior pockets, and it closes safely with a leather strap/knot. On the back of the pouch there are two belt loops for attaching to your belt. If you wish to have the suede finish on the outside, all you need to do is untie the belt loops and the closure knot, turn the pouch inside out and re-tie the loops and the knot.
- Available in light brown and dark brown
- Made of sturdy thick leather
- The loops will fit up to a 8.5 cm wide belt
- Length 18cm, depth 6cm, height 14cm
- Made by Ulfberth
Revenant Man (verified owner) –
this is a great bag for a lot of different outfits.
I personally use it to store my phone when I’m wearing my knight or wizard outfits since they do not have pockets.
The bag is closed with a thinner piece of leather that goes around a knot, which is slightly difficult to get over the knot, but i wouldn’t worry about pulling on it too much since it is high quality leather and I don’t expect it to break any time soon.
