Description
D-Guard Bowie was a popular knife in the Confederacy in the Civil War of the United States. It was used to chopping branches, splitting logs, slicing saplings and even had its way with a Yankee or two. Nowadays re-enactors use it even to dig cannon emplacements! D-Guard Bowie has a contoured wooden grip with light stain and a steel guard. The massive blade in size of a small sword is made of high carbon steel and holds an edge well. Includes a leather sheath with metal furniture.
