Description
Although not all vikings could afford a sword or an iron helmet, even the lowly spear men had a wooden shield. With the fighting techniques the vikings used, a soldier without a shield would pretty soon have been a dead soldier, so a shield was the first piece of protection a viking warrior acquired. They did not use the shield only as a protection, but also in the offensive line.
This gorgeous viking shield can be used by a small warrior to guard against spears as well as fierce sword blows, meaning that the medical corps are not in such a high demand at all times on the battlefields.
The shield is made of sturdy plywood and has a metal shield boss, just like a real viking shield.
- The shield measures approximately 41.5 cm in circumference
- Weight 540 g
- There are two straps at the back of the shield for correct and optimal use and carrying
- Made of sturdy plywood
- Made in EU
