Description

Since 1943 these official military Kukris have been made by one government contractor; Windlass Steelcrafts. Hand forged from high carbon steel, each comes with a regulation sheath.
This kukri beheads water buffaloes with a single stroke in the traditional Gurkha sacred ceremony. Only one of these weapons is issued to each Gurkha Regiment in India. Features a specially carved native hardwood handle and a polished steel blade, which is nearly one centimeter (3/8″) thick and 61 cm (24”) long. In the last picture a normal sized kukri beside the gigantic one for size reference.
