Medieval Blouse with 3/4 Sleeves

Description

This versatile blouse has a small ruffle at the neckline. The front of the blouse has an adjustable slit which is closed with a ribbon tie. The sleeves are 3/4 length and can be gathered with a tie. Small slits on the side seams allow for better freedom of movement. The blouse is made from light cotton fabric and is very comfortable in fit.
Historically, blouses belong to the Renaissance rather than to the Middle Ages. However, when combined with a skirt and a bodice or a corset belt, they can also make for a beautiful medieval look. A blouse can also be paired nicely with a sleeveless or short-sleeved dress.
