While the heraldic lily was commonly used during the Middle Ages throughout Europe, this symbol is commonly associated with France where kings continuously used the symbol from 1179 to 1798. This damask patterned dress is typical for 16th century with its high waist and square neckline. The back of this dress laces up and has a hidden modesty panel, which leaves breathing room after a little too much feasting. This dress can be worn with any of our chemises. 80 % polyester, 20 % cotton.

Available also in midnight blue with gold accents.
