Suomalaiset muinaispuvut -coloring book

Description

This colouring book presents all the Finnish Iron Age dresses for which there are reconstructions; all the way from the Aino-reconstruction of the late 1800’s to the Ravattula dress from 2021. There is plenty to colour, as each spread has the main dress as well as their details to colour. Each dress has a short info in Finnish.  Illustrated by Emilia Lamppu.

Featured dresses in order: Aino-dress, Perniö dress, Tuukkala dress, Ancient-Karelia dress, Kaukola dress, Eura dress, Masku dress, Kaarina dress, Mikkeli-area dress and Ravattula dress. The book also contains an activity page for naming all the parts of an Iron Age dress, and a map for the grave finds of which these dresses are based on.
